HUMANS PRAY, CHERISH AND CARE ABOUT AN INVISIBLE GOD. BUT THEY IGNORE A VISIBLE NATURE CRYING IN FRONT OF THEM.”

Nature is the best epitome of beauty and calmness. Nature is the abode which sustains humanity. In the morning, the sun dawns and it soothes all our languor. The beauty of nature is something that enthralls us and lightens our mood. It adorns the mankind with its beautiful ornaments. The diversifying flora and fauna are all its assets which form the ecosystem. But how well we paid our mother nature back? How suddenly it turned into a menace, troubling the whole world?

In the recent times nature has turned violent and is drastically troubling us. We have seen how Bihar and Assam are drowned in flood and on the contrary Jharkhand suffers from drought. Few months back Orissa witnessed one of the most destructive cyclones – Fani and in the south floods drowned the state of Kerala, severely causing a thousands of death.

The way we treat our mother nature intentionally or unintentionally has bounced back to us. Why today India is suffering from Ground Water Degradation? Why the crows are now unseen? There are numerous of questions we need to answer and just not to answer but we need to revamp the things.

In the parliament the opponent blames the government and in response they just compare data. All mutter on the consequences but no one thinks about the cause of consequences and that’s the real reason which has made us scratch our heads. But till now the things are unhindered.

We have altered the nature so much that instead of greenery we only see flats and factories clustered around. In the meantime, we list the achievements of humanity notched up so far, which is of mere importance in reality.

Nothing less than sustainable development can help us. A question which always tickles my mind is, our pandits and maulis can preach about religion and their ishwara and allah, then why not about this dumb and holy mother nature?
