BIM & VDC Coordinator

Assemble Management (www.assemble.management) is seeking a BIM Coordinator to support the firm’s BIM and Project Management teams. This role is hands-on and project-focused, responsible for day-to-day BIM coordination, model maintenance, and technical support across multiple luxury residential projects.

The BIM Coordinator will work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and internal project managers to ensure models, drawings, and coordination workflows align with Assemble’s BIM standards and project goals.

This role is ideal for a technically strong, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working directly in models, resolving coordination issues, and supporting a growing BIM department.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage live Revit models for internal coordination use
  • Support model coordination efforts across architectural, structural, and MEP consultants
  • Assist with clash detection and issue tracking using Autodesk Construction Cloud (“ACC”) and Navisworks
  • Perform QA/QC reviews of consultant models and drawing sets under direction of the BIM Manager
  • Prepare coordination views, sheets, schedules, and documentation for internal and external use
  • Implement and follow Assemble’s BIM standards, templates, and workflows
  • Support file management, model versioning, and ACC folder structures
  • Assist in tracking and resolving BIM coordination issues with consultants
  • Generate markups, screenshots, and technical exhibits for meetings and correspondence
  • Support project managers with model-based analysis, visualization, and documentation
  • Participate in coordination meetings as required
  • Handle project correspondence via email and ACC platforms
  • Other ad-hoc technical and coordination tasks as needed

Experience & Qualifications

  • 3–6 years of professional experience in a BIM-focused role (BIM Coordinator, BIM Specialist, or similar)
  • Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit
  • Working knowledge of Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud
  • Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
  • Experience performing clash detection and basic coordination workflows
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Bluebeam
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD required
  • Experience with Archicad, SketchUp, Dynamo, Lumion, or other visualization/BIM tools is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-project environment

Work Environment & Benefits
