Position
Artemest is seeking an experienced Account Manager based in Los Angeles (California) to drive revenue growth and build brand awareness within the architectural and interior design (A&D) community. This role focuses on managing key accounts, fostering strong client relationships, and leveraging growing opportunities in residential, hospitality, and retail projects.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned key clients, thoroughly understanding their project needs and objectives.
• Develop and sustain strong, long-term client relationships through regular in-person meetings, client visits, and participation in events such as gallery exhibitions and fairs, as appropriate.
• Partner with the VP to identify and prioritize key accounts and distribution opportunities.
Account Strategy and Planning
• Support the VP in creating and executing strategic account plans aligned with company objectives.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and expansion, presenting recommendations to the VP on a bi-weekly basis.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure client needs are met effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records and sales pipelines.
Operational Execution
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless product delivery to clients.
• Manage client orders, particularly for design firms, purchasing agents, and trade businesses.
• Track and analyze account performance against KPIs and business objectives.
• Address and resolve client issues promptly and professionally
Communication and Collaboration
• Promote a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages knowledge sharing and teamwork.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting
• Provide regular performance reports and insights to the VP, including metrics on account growth, client retention, and revenue contribution.
• Propose adjustments to account strategies based on data trends and client feedback.
Market and Industry Insights
• Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and inform client strategies.
• Share relevant market intelligence with the team to align efforts with broader industry shifts.
Training and Development
• Mentor junior team members, sharing best practices and expertise to enhance their account management skills.
Upselling and Cross-Selling
• Actively identify and present opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to key clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and objectives.
Feedback and Process Improvement
• Gather feedback from clients regarding their experience and share it with internal teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Contribute to refining sales and operational processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
Compliance and Ethics
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, maintaining ethical practices in all client interactions.
• Monitor compliance with contractual agreements and escalate issues where necessary.
Requirements
- 4+ years of sales experience in design, luxury goods, or online marketplace industries.
- Proven track record in business development and driving sales growth, particularly in residential, hospitality, or retail markets.
- Strong relationships with top A&D firms in California and deep understanding of the local interior design industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first approach.
- Highly organized, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities.
- Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for luxury craftsmanship and e-commerce
