Associate Principal

About the Role

The Associate Principal Architect supports the Principal of Design and the Principal of Production in guiding creative and technical aspects of projects across a range of scales and typologies. This role ensures design excellence, coordination, and delivery across all project phases while fostering collaboration and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Principal of Design the Principal of Production during all design phases.
  • Lead design reviews to ensure integrity and consistency.
  • Support design presentations and client communications.
  • Coordinate with production and consultant teams to integrate technical requirements.
  • Mentor junior staff, fostering creativity and growth.
  • Contribute to research and innovation initiatives.
  • Maintain alignment with firmwide design goals and standards.

Qualifications

  • Professional degree in Architecture (Master’s preferred).
  • 10+ years of professional experience with design leadership roles.
  • Licensed Architect preferred.
  • Proven experience in complex, large-scale projects (airports, stadiums, high-rise).
  • International experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
