Designer / Job Captain

Morphosis is seeking a Designer / Job Captain with exceptional design sensibility and strong technical expertise to join our collaborative Culver City studio. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a project Partner on ambitious and innovative projects at multiple scales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to all design phases, including Concept Design, Schematic Design (SD), Design Development (DD), and Construction Documentation (CD).
  • Coordinate effectively with engineers, consultants, and internal team members to develop comprehensive design and documentation packages.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables under tight schedules with precision and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch).
  • 3–7 years of architectural experience, with a strong background in design and documentation phases.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Revit is required; candidates must be able to efficiently use Revit for design development, coordination, and documentation.
  • Proficiency in Rhino and Adobe Creative Suite is expected.
  • Familiarity with MicroStation, Digital Project/CATIA, scripting, or programming is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a team-oriented, hands-on environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English required.
