Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans that are essential for the construction. This role requires proficiency in various drafting software and a strong understanding of design principles to effectively translate concepts into actionable plans.
Duties
- Develop detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software, including AutoCAD and Revit.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and design specifications.
- Create 2D and 3D models to visualize designs, utilizing tools such as Sketchup and Rhino.
- Ensure accuracy in measurements, materials, and dimensions in all drafted documents.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders to meet design goals.
- Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.
Experience
- Proficiency in CAD software. AutoCAD is essential.
- Experience in architectural design is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with local building codes and graphic standards.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- 3D modeling and visualization experience is preferable.
