About the Role
The Principal of Production oversees all aspects of project production and delivery. This role ensures the technical excellence and consistency of Atelier FGP’s documentation while leading teams to realize complex architectural projects. The Principal of Production bridges design intent and technical execution to maintain the firm’s commitment to design integrity and precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead production of construction documents and detailed technical drawings.
- Oversee project delivery for quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement and refine production workflows and quality-control standards.
- Mentor production staff including architects, designers, and BIM technicians.
- Manage resources and project schedules to meet goals.
- Collaborate with the Design Principal for seamless design-to-technical integration.
- Coordinate with consultants for technical accuracy and compliance.
- Uphold firmwide production and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of architectural experience on complex, large-scale projects.
- Licensed Architect.
- Proven team management and leadership experience.
- Expertise in construction documentation, detailing, and specifications.
- Proficiency in BIM/CAD platforms.
- Experience with international projects a strong asset.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Strategic mindset for process innovation and technical advancement.
