Results: Tiny Sea House

Archibest is pleased to announce the results of the Tiny Sea House 2025 international architecture competition.

The competition invited architects, designers, and students from around the world to rethink the future of compact seaside living. Participants were challenged to design a visionary tiny house by the sea—one that balances minimalism, sustainability, and serenity while responding sensitively to its coastal context.

Set on a beachfront site in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, overlooking the Red Sea, the competition explored architecture as more than shelter: a sanctuary that harmonizes human life with nature, adapts to changing environments, and embraces simplicity without sacrificing comfort or identity.

The submitted projects were evaluated by an international jury composed of experienced architects, designers, and industry professionals from leading global practices:

Jury Evaluation

    • Relationship to the site and surrounding environment
    • Innovation, sustainability, and spatial efficiency
    • Clarity of presentation and overall vision

The jury panel included representatives from leading international practices and design studios, bringing diverse perspectives to the evaluation process.

All prize winners and honorable mentions will receive certificates of achievement and publication. Selected projects will be featured on Archibest’s platforms and shared with a global audience of architecture and design professionals.

Archibest would like to thank all participants for their creativity, dedication, and inspiring interpretations of the Tiny Sea House theme. The high quality and diversity of submissions made the selection process both challenging and rewarding.
