As Radical Innovation celebrates its 20th Anniversary, our mission remains to discover and support ideas that shape the future of hospitality. Entries should present an innovative hospitality project that reimagines how hotels or lodging environments are planned, designed, or delivered. Submissions may include new-build developments, renovations, adaptive reuse projects, mixed-use destinations, or other initiatives that challenge conventional models and create measurable value for guests, operators, and owners.
In the submission process, submit the following attachments:
1. A compelling presentation (PPT or PDF) that effectively communicates the product concept, its significance, and the potential impact.
2. Detailed sketches, renderings, and/or a video of a 3D model illustrating the product.
What the judges are looking for:
– Hospitality-Relevant: Is the idea clearly rooted in hospitality and meaningful to guests, operators, owners, or communities?
– Innovative: Does it introduce new thinking that advances how hospitality is designed, delivered, or experienced?
– Impactful: Will it create measurable value through improved guest experience, operational efficiency, sustainability, or business performance?
– Feasible & Scalable: Is there a realistic path to implementation, and could the idea be applied across multiple properties or markets?
– Clear & Compelling: Is the concept clearly explained and professionally presented so its value is easy to understand?
– Judges will also consider planning approach, design vision, development strategy, and the project’s ability to be executed at real scale.
*Radical Innovation Submission Fee:
– Students or recent graduates: Free with a valid student ID
