Terraviva launches SA PIZZEDDA, a new design competition developed in collaboration with the fast-grow-ing Sardinian pizzeria brand, challenging designers and creatives to redefine its visual identity and shape its future image.
Prizes up to 8.000 € will be awarded to the winners, and the 1st Prize project will be adopted as the new official brand identity of Sa Pizzedda, with the opportunity to further collaborate with the company.
BRIEF
The competition invites participants to design the new brand identity of Sa Pizzedda, a dynamic and fast-growing company bringing the traditional Pizza al taglio Cagliaritana from Sardinia to the vibrant food scene of Milan. Rooted in authenticity yet driven by innovation, the brand stands out for its distinctive crunchiness, folded format and creative toppings – already recognised as winner of the “Best Sliced Pizza in Milan” at the TV show Foodish by Joe Bastianich.
As Sa Pizzedda expands, the need for a clear, flexible and iconic visual identity becomes essential. Participants are invited to rethink the brand’s image, either by evolving its current elements – such as the logo, colour palette and typography – or by proposing entirely new concepts capable of expressing its personality in a fresh and contemporary way.

The winning proposal will be adopted as Sa Pizzedda’s new visual identity, with the opportunity for further collaboration with the brand.
GUIDELINES
The goal is to develop a cohesive brand system that can be easily applied across different platforms, from packaging and restaurant spaces to digital communication and merchandising. More than a logo, the challenge is to define a strong and recognisable identity that reflects the brand’s values: sharp, bold, playful, urban and tasty, while fully embracing the energy of a young and urban audience.
This competition offers the opportunity to shape the visual future of a unique emerging brand, translating its needs into a powerful and memorable design language.
REQUESTED MATERIAL
One A3 Book 420 x 297 mm (horizontal – max 20 pages) and two Representative Images (horizontal – 2560 x 1810 px).
JURY
Proposals will be evaluated by the board of Crunch S.r.l., with Francesco Carboni and Andrea De Dominicis (founders of Sa Pizzedda) serving as co-chairs of the jury panel.
