The Italian State Property Agency (Agenzia del Demanio) has launched an international Design Competition for the regeneration of the former San Sebastiano Prison in Sassari, Italy, and we would appreciate your help in bringing it to the attention of your members.
The complex is one of the most significant historic sites in the city. The competition offers an important professional opportunity for architects and multidisciplinary teams working in urban regeneration, the restoration of architectural heritage and the design of public spaces.
The total value of the services to be awarded exceeds EUR 2 million, with a further EUR 5 million available as options for subsequent design stages and technical services.
The First Phase submission deadline is 19 February 2027 at 14:00 (CET).
