For the 2026/2027 educational offer, Yacademy will provide the highest number of scholarships in its history, for a total of 400.000€  in financial support to talented young architects and designers from around the world.Â
New funding opportunities will also make Yacademy’s postgraduate programs more accessible than ever, offering students the chance to receive advanced architectural training while building direct connections with some of the world’s leading architecture firms.Â
FROM EDUCATION TO PROFESSIONAL PRACTICEÂ
An essential part of Yacademy’s format is the Placement program, aimed at guaranteeing students an effective professional orientation service.Â
100% of the students receive a proposal for collaboration within the firms belonging to the school’s network. 86% of students accept this proposal, and 30% of placement collaborations are established with Pritzker Prize-awarded studios.
Thanks to the support of its partner firms, Yacademy has agreements that guarantee internships for students at: BIG – Bjarke Ingels Group, David Chipperfield Architects, SANAA, Snøhetta, Kengo Kuma & Associates, Aires Mateus, Benedetta Tagliabue – EMBT.
The wider placement network also includes Foster + Partners, UNS, Morphosis, ARUP, Mario Cucinella Architects, David Chipperfield Architects, Herzog & de Meuron, Neri & Hu, Zhu Pei, Jean Nouvel Design, Snøhetta, MAD Architects, Carlo Ratti Associati.

FOUR COURSES STARTING IN NOVEMBER 2026Â
Applications are currently open for four programs taking place between November 2026 and February 2027:
- Architecture for Exhibition
- Off-site Technologies for Architecture
- Earth Architecture
- AI for Urban Regeneration

All Yacademy’s high-level training courses include special lectures by the greatest interpreters of architecture, visits to exclusive sites, real design workshops tutored by the most renowned firms worldwide (Herzog & de Meuron, Benedetta Tagliabue – EMBT, Carlo Ratti Associati, ZHA Architects), hands-on workshops, and a guaranteed proposal of collaboration in one of the firms of the school’s network.
Some of the professionals who will participate in the courses as special lecturers are Kazuyo Sejima (co-founder of SANAA), Paolo Matteuzzi (Associate at ZHA Architects), Nicola Scaranaro (Partner at Foster + Partners), Arne Emerson (Principal at Morphosis), Giuseppe Zampieri (founder of David Chipperfield Architects Milan), Andreas Fries (Senior Partner at Herzog & de Meuron), and many more.
KEY INFORMATION
The programs are open to students and graduates in architecture, design, or similar disciplines, and cover specific fields of architecture that respond to the most recent challenges of the sector.
Here is some useful information for attending the courses:
- Classes can be attended in person (in Bologna, Italy) and online
- The frequency is 3 days/week
- Classes are held both in Italian and English, and translation into English is always available
- The placement is activated between March and May 2027
- The application deadline is 4 September 2026
- A total of 32 scholarships are available, 8 for each course (3 at 90%, and 5 at 50% coverage of the tuition fee)
- Funding options for students without scholarships are available
