Nathalie Pierrepont Design is seeking a garden design assistant/junior designer to join its team in New York City.
Support the garden design process – from concept stage to execution – for private residences in and around New York City.
Responsibilities may include:
- compiling proposals and plant catalogs
- managing open-ended tasks for various projects simultaneously
- conducting market research for outdoor plant containers, furniture, fabrics, antiques, etc
- creating and managing photo libraries and client files
- cross-checking measurements and plans
Requirements:
- one to three year(s) relevant professional experience and/or studies (i.e., horticulture, ecology and/or design)
- 15+ hours/week
- sense of design
- highly organized
- detail-oriented
- strong communicator
- critical thinker
- resourceful
