Fe.M 2026 Festival di microarchitettura

Fe.M 2026 — Festival di Micro-Architettura
Open Call for Wooden Micro-Architecture Installations
Pesaro-Urbino Province, Italy | July – November 2026

About the Festival
Fe.M is an Italian festival celebrating the intersection of architecture, design, and landscape. Born from Pesaro 2024 – Italian Capital of Culture, the festival invites designers to create ephemeral wooden micro-installations in unique historical sites across the inland territory of Pesaro-Urbino (Le Marche region). Now in its third edition, Fe.M uses architecture as a tool to reconnect communities with their landscape and cultural heritage.

The Brief
Teams are invited to design a self-built wooden micro-architecture (5–10 m²) to be installed in one of the festival’s carefully selected rural sites. Projects should engage poetically and contextually with their surroundings — stripped of convention, rooted in place, and built by hand.

Individuals or teams of licensed architects or engineers (master’s level), of any nationality or age. One member per team must hold the required qualification.

€1,500 construction budget per winning project (6 winners selected)
Free accommodation during the build residency (up to 10 nights, up to 5–6 people)

Physical scale model at 1:10 (mandatory, sent by post)
